Randy Orton Receives Backlash On Social Media For Sharing A Post Relating To The Tragic School Shooting In Florida

Randy Orton involves religion in this week's horrific tragedy.

Two days ago, an armed 19 year-old went into the school which he was expelled from and took 17 lives. The tragedy has swept the nation and will continue to do so until an actual solution is presented to the problem. Former 9-time WWE Champion Randy Orton, shared the following post on his Instagram account regarding the tragic event:

Orton shared this exact post on Twitter as well and the reaction to what Orton posted did not go over well with his followers on either social media platform. Orton received backlash from those in the comments who simply did not agree with what Orton was presenting. The post read: "Dear God, why do you allow so much violence in our schools? Signed, a concerned student". The rest of the image would read "Dear concerned student, I am not allowed in schools" signed by God.

 

The "Viper" has made controversial comments in the past that has gotten people riled up. No one besides Orton will know what he was trying to get across with this post, but what is certain is that people did not agree with the sentiments.
