Randy Orton was not a fan of his entrance at Wrestlemania.
BleedingCool.com reported, at a Q&A session at Wizard World, Randy Orton said his entrance looked like he was riding "a giant sperm" down the ramp at Wrestlemania 33. Orton won the WWE Championship in a match against Bray Wyatt on that April night in Orlando, Florida. It was Orton's ninth WWE Championship victory, making him a 12 time Champion overall. His moniker "The Viper" was the inspiration for his entrance but he thought the graphics displayed on the ramp were not aesthetically pleasing.
"The snake looked like giant sperm,” said Orton.
(Editor's Note: He's not wrong.)
The conversation then turned, Orton said he would like a spectacular entrance like Triple H but he feels "screwed" out of good entrances and pointed out that the sperm/snake entrance wasn't his idea. In fact, he had no say in the matter at all. Triple H has been known to have many people and elaborate sets for his Wrestlemania entrances. Kody William Schmitt of BleedingCool.com also noted the audience included children while Orton used terms like "screwed" and "sperm."
Also in the the Q&A session, "The Viper" talked about how he got his other moniker "The Apex Predator". He said his favorite nickname was "The Legend Killer."
Orton defends his WWE Championship at WWE Payback against Bray Wyatt. On Monday, Wyatt switched from Smackdown to Raw during the Superstar Shakeup. WWE Payback is a Raw exclusive pay-per-view and takes place April 30th. Orton won a match via disqualification against Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan on Tuesday's Smackdown.
