The NWA suspended its live event operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it is unknown when the company will return.
According to Raven, who previously worked with NWA President Billy Corgan in Resistance Pro, NWA might not be returning at all.
"I think Billy is shutting [NWA] down, from what I hear. Billy really does the booking, all the booking, at least he did with Resistance Pro. He liked me there for my wrestling mind so I could say 'yay or nay' to ideas, if they make sense or if they don't, but ultimately he was the final say on everything, as he should have been. From the grapevine, I heard Billy is not opening back up, he's really disillusioned," Raven told Hannibal TV.
NWA has not made an official announcement regarding its future, but the social media account has not tweeted anything since a June 24 response to another user and there have been no new uploads to its YouTube channel since June 18.
The company cut ties with Vice President David Lagana after he was accused of sexual assault and offered releases to anyone who wanted one.
Fightful Select previously reported that NWA is currently in limbo with everything going on.
