Red Velvet Confirms A Knee Injury Sidelined For Her Nine Months

Red Velvet made her return to competition on the November 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, facing Julia Hart in singles competition.

The match was Velvet's first in-ring action since the February 1 episode of AEW Dynamite when she lost to Jade Cargill in an AEW TBS Title bout.

Velvet was sidelined during that time with an injury, which she confirmed on Pope's Point of View with Elijah Burke to be a knee injury.

"Recently, as everyone has seen, I just came back from a knee injury that had me off for nine months, almost a total of a year gone. I made my come back on November 8 in Portland. It didn't stop there, I went back to back to back, I call it the comeback tour. it didn't stop there, it went on and on. It was a great high of coming back and I'm so grateful," she said.

Though Velvet lost to Hart in her return bout, she defeated Ruby Soho on the November 10 episode of AEW Rampage.

She last wrestled on the November 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, losing to Skye Blue.
