Red Velvet To Miss CMLL Event Due To Injury, Taya Valkyrie Announced As Her Replacement

Red Velvet is out, and Taya Valkyrie is in.

On the February 19th episode of CMLL Informa, ROH Women's World Television Champion Red Velvet appeared in a video and announced that she would no longer be competing at the CMLL event on March 7th and the tag team tournament due to an injury. Taya Valkyrie was then revealed as her replacement. She will take Velvet's place and team up with Lady Frost.

This will mark Taya Valkyrie's CMLL debut. Valkyrie previously had a run in AAA, and she is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion.

Velvet last wrestled at the ROH on HonorClub taping on January 25th, where she beat Robyn Renegade.
