Renee Paquette has made no secret that she didn't have the best time while on WWE Raw commentary.
Paquette, who worked as Renee Young in WWE, served as the third person in the booth alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves on WWE Raw for a year beginning in September 2018. Paquette often faded into the background and has stated that there could be a lack of communication in the booth.
Speaking to Sam Roberts on the NotSam Wrestling podcast, Renee revealed her full-proof plan to get off WWE commentary had she not been moved to WWE Backstage in November 2019.
"I always figured I would be pregnant on commentary. I actually -- here's an inside scoop for you -- I really wanted to get pregnant while I was on commentary, merely as a way to get off commentary [laughs]. Please let me get knocked up so I can get out of here. Bring in Samoa Joe, I'll duck out," she said.
Renee continued to joke that she wanted to deliver the baby on air with Graves and Cole doing commentary for her delivery.
She also noted that it was cool to be on WWE Backstage ahead of WWE Royal Rumble while pregnant.
Renee left WWE following SummerSlam 2020 and now hosts her own podcast Oral Sessions.
