On Tuesday night, Tony Khan announced that Jon Moxley would be entering an inpatient alcohol treatment program.
Khan said, "We all stand with him and Renee, and all of his family and friends, as he shifts his focus to recovery."
Since news of Moxley entering inpatient alcohol treatment became public, many wrestlers from all companies have expressed their public support of his decision.
On Wednesday afternoon, Moxley's wife Renee Paquette thanked everyone for their support and praised her husband for getting proper help.
Thanks for this outpouring of support. Jon is every bit of the badass we all know him to be. I couldn’t be more proud of him for getting to proper help he needs, and being given the space to put his health first. Couldn’t possibly love this man more

Moxley was scheduled to face Orange Cassidy in the semi-finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite. He most recently competed on October 30 at Wrestling Revolver's Tales From The Ring, where he defeated Jimmy Jacobs.
On behalf of everyone at Fightful, we wish Jon and his family the very best at this time.
