Renee Young Feels She Can't Tweet About Jon Moxley Without 'RENEE YOUNG TO AEW' Responses

Though Renee Young and Jon Moxley work for competing promotions, it doesn't mean they are on the verge of divorce. However, Renee did admit that she feels a little tentative to tweet about Moxley when he's competing inside an AEW ring because of responses she'll receive from fans.

Speaking to Corey Graves on After The Bell, Young and Graves joked about everyone from the two companies hating each other. The exchange prompted Young to say, "It's so annoying. It's stupid that I feel like I can't tweet about something or that I can't talk about a match that he had or whatever because all this background, 'AEW CONFIRMED! RENEE YOUNG GOING TO AEW!' It's like, guys, give me a break. It's non-stop. But having so much wrestling on TV, I don't know. People need to take a chill pill."

Young had no problem tweeting during Moxley's match against Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear, saying "I hate this" as the two men brutalized each other with barbed wire, broken glass, mouse traps, and more.

Despite some fans believing Renee is going to AEW anytime she tweets about Moxley, she did admit that fans are relatively nice to her because they are happy for Moxley.

"I feel like they're nicer to me [because Jon works for AEW]. Jon's fans are so happy to see him happy that there doesn't seem to be much backlash other than if somebody wants to throw ratings at you one week. I kind of stay away from that. You get so caught up in dumb shit on social media. I truly don't want to tweet something and feel like I'm rocking the boat, and all of a sudden, someone from WWE is going to call me up and they're gonna be annoyed at something I said. So I take myself out of the equation for the most part," she said.

Moxley has previously said that Young is "untouchable" in WWE. She currently hosts WWE Backstage on Fox Sports 1. Young tweeted that she will be in Japan this weekend, supporting Moxley at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14.
