WWE could have a fourth set of tag team champions.
PWInsider has reported WWE has been looking to create a tag team championship for 205 Live after Wrestlemania 34 which would create a new set of titles on top of the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT tag team championships. Earlier in February, there was a report Vince McMahon had stepped down from 205 Live and Triple H had began to take leadership of the program.
The Cruiserweights have not been seen on WWE television since the beginning of the tournament to crown a new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
205 Live airs Tuesdays on WWE Network and Fightful Wrestling has live coverage each week. The tournament is in the middle of the quarterfinals round and four wrestlers will compete this week to join Roderick Strong and Cedric Alexander in the semi-finals. The finals in the tournament to crown a new champion will take place at Wrestlemania 34.
In the video at the top of this page, Pro Wrestling Unlimited addressed this report and the possible ramifications.
Fightful Wrestling will provide any updates with any further reports about a Crusierweight Tag Team Championship.
