The Authors Of Pain will be back in the fray soon.
Former RAW Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain (Akam and Rezar) have not teamed together since earlier January due to Akam undergoing knee surgery. John Pollock of POST Wrestling provided an update on Akam and noted that the 26-year old Canada native is cleared to return to in-ring competition. It is noted within the report that the duo have been slated to return for weeks but with the Wild Card rule in effect, it has made television time thin.
Akam and Rezar captured the RAW Tag Team Championships on the November 5th episode of WWE RAW that was taped in Manchester, England and they defeated the current Universal Champion Seth Rollins in a Handicap match to capture the tag titles.
It was also at that RAW Manchester taping that Drew McIntyre dominated Kurt Angle in a singles match and made Angle tap out to the "Angle Lock".
