Report: Andrade Given English Tutor; WWE Wants Him To Practice More Rather Than Relying On Zelina Vega

Andrade is looked upon fondly, per report.

"El Idolo" and current SmackDown Live star Andrade is set to compete in the men's Money In The Bank Ladder match this coming Sunday at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Andrade has been paired with his on-screen business manager Zelina Vega dating back to 2017 and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has learned through talent relations, that WWE has given Andrade an English tutor to improve his English speaking skills rather than relying on Zelina Vega to cut his promos for him. It is noted within the Observer that Andrade is becoming "universally loved" in the company and the one thing that is holding him back from a push is his English.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported in September of 2018 that Andrade impressed WWE officials including Vince McMahon due to his in-ring work with former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles. Here's a note from the exclusive report about Andrade that is published here on Fightful:

A source inside WWE told Fightful that sometimes Vince McMahon will just see someone and say "I want them up here," without having any semblance of a plan. Other times, Vince McMahon will be told that a talent could be useful and it might be time for them to move up, but if he isn't 100 percent behind them, they'll have nothing. The same source said that in the case of Almas, he was put in a spot where he wasn't expected to shine the way he did, and it made an impression, and that's typically the way that McMahon ends up taking notice of people who come from NXT.

Andrade will be joined by Ricochet, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Ali, Randy Orton and Finn Balor in the men's Money In The Bank Ladder match and to get an updated look at the match card for the upcoming pay-per-view, head over to Fightful's "events" page.
