Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In May, Asuka posted a vlog to her YouTube channel, saying that after the European tour, she needed to get treatment on her knee that had been hurting her for a while. In June, she revealed she had undergone knee surgery and doctors told her the surgery, which took 90 minutes, was a success. She was discharged the day after surgery.

Asuka was announced for the Queen of the Ring tournament, but replaced by Dakota Kai due to her injury.

It is unknown when Asuka will return to action. Fightful wishes her the best in her recovery.
