On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said, "Austin Aries has gone home. He is not going to be on the TV for as long as they tape. Austin Aries was not fired, to the best of my knowledge."

IMPACT Wrestling is set to tape weeks worth of television on Monday and Tuesday night from the Melrose Ballroom in New York. It's still unknown whether or not the angle was a work or a shoot, but it appears as if Aries will be kept off television for the time being, at least in a live capacity.
