Monday's WWE RAW was well received under the watch of Paul Heyman.
It was announced by WWE that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff would be assuming the roles of Executive Directors of WWE television for RAW and SmackDown, respectively. This past Monday on RAW, what social media has dubbed the "Paul Heyman era of RAW", kicked off with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley being carted out of the arena after falling into an electrical area which caused pyro to go off. It was noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the opening segment was a Paul Heyman idea which has been confirmed.
It was also noted in the Observer that Paul Heyman was behind the Mike and Maria Kanellis segment. Maria put Mike on the spot in front of the live crowd and stated that Becky Lynch was the only "Man" she saw in the ring other than Seth Rollins. Maria also stated that she was pregnant and later revealed on Instagram that she and Mike Kanellis are indeed expecting their second child.
