Programming Insider reports that the April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.599 million viewers. This number is down big from the 1.741 million viewers the show drew last Friday.
Friday's episode scored a 0.51 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, also down from the 0.55 rating on April 11.
The show faced competition from multiple sporting events. The second and third round broadcast of the NFL Draft recorded over 7.3M viewers across ABC, ESPN2 and the NFL Network.
On ESPN, the NBA Playoffs game between the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic recorded 2.1M viewers and a 0.58 rating in the key demographic.
On TBS, the Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils faced off in NHL Playoff action. That game recorded 342K viewers and a 0.14 rating in the key demographic.
TNT was the home to a separate NHL Playoff game between the Washington Capitals and the Montreal Canadiens. That game brought in 485K viewers and and 0.14 rating in the key demographic.
