All Elite Wrestling's roster continues to grow, and this go around they've grabbed one of the top female free agents.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, Britt Baker DMD has signed with the new group. AEW, officially announced this week, saw Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Dana Massie and Brandi Rhodes all posing with their contracts yesterday.
There were questions surrounding the possibility of a women's division in AEW, which seem to be answered by this signing. Baker, who works as a dentist, implements it into her character and name as well.
Baker performed at All In back in September, where she took on Madison Rayne, Chelsea Green and Tessa Blanchard.
Baker spoke to Fightful just a couple of months ago about balancing wrestling with her career as a dentist.
"That's such a hard question. I think anyone who wrestles, their dream is to make a substantial living out of wrestling. With dentistry, it's something I love, and that's my forever job. When all is said and done and my body is done in wrestling, that's my forever dream job, where wrestling is my dream job now when I'm young and healthy and I can do it. I love both of my jobs. Right now, I'd love for wrestling to take off now more than it already has. If it doesn't, I'm happy working both jobs. 'm not signed, I'm not signed anywhere. The only place I'm signed is to a one-year dental contract. It's been fun. I've really been playing up the independent card"
