AAA has yet to confirm Velasquez' appearances.

Velasquez made his pro wrestling debut on Aug. 3 at AAA TripleMania XXVII. Teaming with Psycho Clown and Cody Rhodes, Velasquez' team was victorious over Taurus, Texano Jr. & Killer Kross. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion turned in an impressive performance, pulling off a hurricanrana and a springboard armdrag. Velasquez won the bout for his team when he submitted Texano Jr. with a kimura. You can view highlights from Cain's performance by clicking here.

After the bout, Cain revealed that he has thought about working a tag team match with training partner and longtime wrestling fan Daniel Cormier. You can view his comments on possibly teaming with Cormier by clicking here.

Before Cormier and Velasquez can think about tag team wrestling glory, Cormier must first defend his UFC Heavyweight Title against Stipe Miocic tonight at UFC 241.
