Report: Chris Jericho's AEW Contract Is For Three Years; Can Still Work For NJPW But Not WWE

Chris Jericho got a pretty sweet deal from All Elite Wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Jericho's deal with AEW is a three-year exclusive deal, meaning he won't be working any WWE dates. However, Jericho is allowed to keep working for NJPW and will once again hold his Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise.

During his post-rally media scrum, Cody Rhodes confirmed that Jericho would be allowed to run a second cruise. Jericho worked with The Elite on the first cruise and AEW is expected to provide him with talent for the second cruise. More details on the second cruise are expected to be announced at the end of January.

Meltzer also reports that Jericho had been negotiating with WWE up until late December. Jericho was reportedly offered "a significantly better contract" by AEW than he ever had in WWE.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Jericho stated that he would not have gone to AEW if there was not a strong TV deal on the table. You can view Jericho's comments on signing with AEW here.
