Updates on Daniel Bryan and Sheamus.
Fans may have noticed that Daniel Bryan has not appeared on television since losing the WWE Title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35. According to PWInsider, Bryan was not at television this week and is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury. The report states that "the nature of the situation has been closely guarded."
Furthermore, Sheamus is reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury as well. Sheamus was noticeably absent from last night's SmackDown as Cesaro teamed with Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura with Sheamus nowhere to be found. Sheamus last wrestled on the Apr. 9 episode of SmackDown, teaming with Cesaro & Drew McIntyre against The New Day in a six-man tag team bout.
There is no timetable for the return of either superstar.
Injuries have hit WWE hard since WrestleMania as AJ Styles missed a week with a sprained SI joint suffered at WrestleMania 35. He was back in action this past Monday on Raw. Meanwhile, Big E suffered a torn meniscus in the aforementioned SmackDown six-man tag team match last week. And Nia Jax will miss significant time after tearing both ACLs.
