ROH will have a familiar face as head of creative as they resume television production.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports Delirious is back as head of creative in ROH. Marty Scurll, who took over the role upon signing a new contract at the end of 2019, is "technically on hiatus" pending an investigation.
ROH announced on June 25 that they would be investigating claims made against wrestlers during the Speaking Out movement. Scurll was accused of sexual assault in 2015 and posted two different statements regarding the matter. ROH has provided no update regarding the investigation.
Delirious was the head booker for ROH before Scurll was promoted to that position. Delirious remained on the creative team and has reportedly been the lone person producing, formatting, and organizing television since the investigation regarding Scurll started.
ROH announced on August 11 the company will begin producing television again this month. According to Meltzer, the tapings will include a tournament and eight shows will be taped this month.
