Report: Gable Steveson Released By WWE

Gable Steveson has reportedly exited WWE.

Per Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Gable Steveson has reportedly been released from his WWE contract.

After making his first appearance for WWE at SummerSlam 2021, he signed with the promotion on a full time deal. He would later be drafted to Monday Night RAW, but would make his in ring debut on WWE's developmental brand, NXT. At The Great American Bash, Steveson would face off with Baron Corbin in a match where the audience quickly turned on the Olympian.

During his time in WWE, Steveson also made a notable appearance at WrestleMania 38 where he would toss around fellow former Olympian Chad Gable in a segment. In recent months, Steveson had been working SmackDown dark matches, having his last match with a dark match before the February 2nd edition of the program.
