Report: IMPACT Wrestling Looking For New Television Partner

Could IMPACT be changing stations again?

According to PWInsider, IMPACT Wrestling will be searching for a new television partner in the United States when their current deal with POP TV expires. IMPACT's contract with POP TV reportedly expires on Dec. 31 of this year. If they are unable to find a new television partner, or if they can't reach a new agreement with POP, IMPACT Wrestling could be without a home heading into 2019.

Impact Wrestling was moved from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET starting on Oct. 25. The final three episodes before the time change all drew under 200,000 viewers. Two episodes have aired in the 10 p.m. ET timeslot. Those episodes drew 98,000 viewers and 105,000 viewers respectively.

POP TV officials reportedly didn't inform IMPACT officials of the time change until just before the announcement was made public.

IMPACT Wrestling holds their "Final Hour" television special tonight beginning at 10 p.m. ET. Fightful will provide live coverage of the special. The show will be reviewed as part of The Weekender podcast on Fightful Select.
