Report: Jim Ross Undergoes Back Surgery; Still Expected To Be At AEW Dynamite On 11/24

An update on Jim Ross.

Jim Ross is the voice of All Elite Wrestling on Wednesday nights. Jim Ross was also one of the first hires to AEW when they launched in January 2019.

Recently, Jim Ross announced that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer. As of yet, Jim Ross hasn't taken any time off following the diagnosis and that isn't going to change this week despite Jim Ross reportedly undergoing surgery on his back recently.

Dave Meltzer, on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, reported that Jim Ross underwent back surgery and is doing well. Jim reportedly has all intention of being at AEW Dynamite in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday, November 24 and he will not be starting radiation treatment until next Monday.

This Wednesday's episode of Dynamite will feature CM Punk in action in his hometown for only the second time on Wednesday night and Bryan Danielson taking on his old friend and Chicago native, Colt Cabana. You can see the full card here.
