Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that John Cone will remain the senior manager of WWE Talent Relations after it had been reported that he was let go from this spot.

This follows a tweet from WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley where he stated that he hoped the company would reconsider its move as he enjoyed working with John. Cone will remain working underneath John Laurinaitis and also remain a WWE referee.

Another WWE referee that has been let go from his office-based duties but will be remaining as an official is Dan Engler, also known as Rudy Charles in TNA.
