Report: Lucha Underground Threatening To Send Cease And Desist To NWA And ROH For Using Willie Mack

Two separate reports involving Lucha Underground.

In late March, it was first reported by Lucha Central that El Hijo del Fantasma, Joey Ryan, Ivelisse and Kobra Moon were granted their respective releases from Lucha Underground following a class action lawsuit that was filed against Baba-G Productions and El Rey Network which are the television company and network that host Lucha Underground. Lucha Central has learned that Jeff Cobb who played the "Matanza" character, Sonny Kiss and Famous B have all sought after legal representation so that they can get out of their contracts with Lucha Underground as well.

Also, SoCal UNCENSORED has revealed that Lucha Underground, through AAA's Dorian Roldan, has threatened to send cease and desist to both Ring Of Honor and the National Wrestling Alliance for using Willie Mack at their recent events. Willie Mack is still under contract with Lucha Underground and he dropped the NWA National Heavyweight Championship to Colt Cabana at NWA's Crockett Cup show over the weekend.

Jeff Cobb is currently holding both the ROH World Television and NEVER Openweight Championships and is on tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling for their 'Road To Wrestling Dontaku' tour. Sonny Kiss has signed with All Elite Wrestling and will be a part of their upcoming 'Double Or Nothing' show in Las Vegas on May 25th.
