Mike and Marie signed with WWE in April 2017 and made their debut as a couple at Money in the Bank in June. The couple entered in a feud with Sami Zayn, which ended at Battleground in July. Since then, they have been used sparing on WWE television and have mostly been regulated to Main Event. In September, the couple announced that they were pregnant with their first child.

In October 2017, a mini-documentary was produced highlighting Mike Kanellis and his struggle with addiction.

The Kanellis' debuted on 205 Live in October 2018 but a move to the brand did not mean a renewed push. Mike Kanellis last wrestled on WWE television on the Jan. 5 episode of 205 Live, teaming with TJP in a loss to Lucha House Party.

Satin reports that just because the Kanellis' requested their release does not mean they will be released.
