The sands of time are escaping us, and WWE will head back to Saudi Arabia next month.
After issues just over two months ago getting out of Saudi Arabia, WWE is poised to return to the country to put on yet another event. According to PWInsider, the date of Thursday, February 20 is penciled in as the next show from the region.
The most recent show featured a women's match between Natalya and Lacey Evans, and matches by Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez, as well as a new WWE Universal Champion in The Fiend. Events in Saudi Arabia have also featured The Greatest Royal Rumble, World Cup tournaments and gauntlet matches, among other special attractions brought in for the events.
The controversial partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia was "extended" after the travel woes that followed last fall's event.
Fightful will have full, live coverage of the show, including a post-show podcast. Any proceeds to that and any Saudi Arabia post-show will continue to be donated to a worthy cause.
