Report: Piper Niven Expected To Sign With WWE; Offer Made To Bea Priestley

WWE continues to stockpile their female roster.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reports that Viper is expected to sign with WWE and will reportedly join NXT upon signing. She is currently under contract to World of Sport and reportedly turned down an offer from AEW.

Viper competed in the 2017 Mae Young Classic under the name Piper Niven. She defeated Santana Garrett in the first round and Serena Deeb in the second round before losing to Toni Storm in the quarterfinals.

Viper is a featured performer in Japanese women's promotion Stardom and a regular in UK promotion ICW. She is a former ICW Women's Champion.

Meltzer also reports that WWE made an offer to Bea Priestley, but she is undecided on her future. She and boyfriend Will Ospreay are considering moving to Japan full-time. Priestley is also a regular in Stardom and is under contract to WOS.

As fans saw at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Kay Lee Ray and Jazzy Gabert were sitting ringside and taking in the event. Meltzer reported earlier this week that Ray is expected to sign with WWE.
