Rey Fenix won't be part of AEW Double or Nothing.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Fenix is suffering from injuries, though no details were given on the type of injuries or the extent of his injuries. It is unknown how long Fenix will be out of action.
Fenix hasn't wrestled since the April 26 (taped on April 21) episode of AEW Dark: Elevation when he defeated Chuckie T.
Meltzer noted that Fenix suffered the injuries during a recent match in Mexico.
It is unknown what Fenix's role would have been at AEW Double or Nothing. His Death Triangle partners PAC and Penta El Zero M are both booked for the event. PAC will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title in a triple threat match that also includes Orange Cassidy.
Meanwhile, Penta El Zero M is one of 20 announced participants in the Casino Battle Royale.
