WWE put out the following statement on its corporate website.

STAMFORD, CONN., December 10, 2019 – WWE has suspended Eddie Colón (Primo) and Robert Roode each for 30 days effective immediately, for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

Roode has been a featured superstar on WWE SmackDown in recent months, teaming with Dolph Ziggler. The duo tried to win their way onto Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series, but came up short against Shorty G and Ali. However, Roode & Ziggler did win the tag team battle royal during the Survivor Series Kickoff show. Roode last wrestled on the Nov. 29 WWE SmackDown, losing to Roman Reigns. After the bout, Reigns laid a vicious assault on Roode. WWE medical attempted to stretcher Roode out of the arena, but Reigns flipped the stretcher, leaving Roode laying.

Primo Colon hasn't worked a WWE match since wrestling in a SmackDown dark match on Feb. 19. He hasn't wrestled on television since Survivor Series 2018. He has competed for WWC in Puerto Rico while off WWE television.

Fightful will provide more details on the suspensions as they are known.
