Report: Roman Reigns May Not Make It To Survivor Series, Jason Jordan To Possibly Replace Him

Roman Reigns' big Survivor Series return may be in question.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE officials started to believe that Roman Reigns may not recover enough in time to compete at Survivor Series on November 19. He isn't hospitialized or in serious condition, but is rather that he would need to take him to get back into proper ring shape and reutrn to the company's touring schedule.

In the case that Reigns is not able to make it to Survivor Series, WWE does have a plan B. The current plan is to plug in Jason Jordan in the event that Roman Reigns can't make the pay-per-view. The idea behind the storyline would be that Kurt Angle is teaming with his (kayfabe) son for the first time ever.

Reigns has been out of action since October 16 when he was taken off from the South America tour with a viral infection believed to be the mumps. This also took out Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt, but both have been back on the road with WWE in the last week.

Regins was supposed to be a part of the Shield reunion at TLC, but Kurt Angle took his place, wrestling for the WWE for the first time since 2006. He'll return at Survivor Series as team captain for the Raw brand.
