The latest on Sasha Banks.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Sasha Banks and WWE are "at a stalemate" over what's next. Banks hasn't been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 when she and Bayley lost the Women's Tag Team Titles to The IIconics. Banks reportedly wanted to leave the company over WrestleMania weekend due to her frustrations with losing the Women's Tag Team Titles and WWE wanting to split up her and Bayley. She was reportedly given time off to think about her decision.
Meltzer goes on to say, "The word is that if she wants to sit out the rest of her contract, she can sit out the rest of her contract." It's unknown when Banks' contract expires, though WWE can reportedly add time to her deal for missing work.
As previously reported, WWE was hopeful that Banks will return for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on May 19 but that "nothing was set in stone" regarding her status. WWE is set to announce the participants in the Women's Money in the Bank match next week on Raw.
