The latest on Sasha Banks.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) is expected to be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
The report notes "While it is unknown whether Varnado will be appearing before the live crowd, we are told that NJPW is bringing Varnado in for the event."
Fightful has not confirmed the report.

Since her C2E2 appearance was announced on Wednesday, Fightful has heard from several promoters in and outside of wrestling that have expressed interest in booking Mercedes. Specifically, we know of at least two wrestling promoters that inquired about it. One of which confirmed to us that Mercedes' team let them know that she wasn't taking pro wrestling related signings until January 1, 2023
Banks hasn't wrestled since the May 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. She and Naomi, who were the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions at the time, were advertised to compete on the May 16 episode of WWE Raw, but walked out after a meeting with Vince McMahon and were "suspended indefinitely" by WWE.
KAIRI is set to defend the IWGP Women's Championship against Tam Nakano at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
