In the Daily Update on April 8, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Rollins would be taking time off after WrestleMania XL. Per Meltzer, the hope as of Monday morning was that it would only be about four weeks.

Meltzer elaborated on Wrestling Observer Radio by stating that he heard Rollins would not be out "that long," but he needed to rest his knee. Rollins sustained a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus in January. He returned to the ring shortly before WrestleMania XL.

Fightful Select also reported that Rollins would be taking some time off.

Ahead of WWE WrestleMania XL, Rollins said that his knee was at full strength. Check out his comments here.
