A change is being made to the WWE Women's Tag Team Title tournament.
WWE announced that Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) will replace Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark in the WWE Women's Tag Team Title tournament on the August 19 episode of WWE SmackDown. They will face Natalya & Sonya Deville.
Shawn Michaels announced that Stark suffered an injury at NXT Heatwave and Lyons is medically unavailable.

On Tuesday's NXT, Rose defeated Stark in an NXT Women's Title match. Rose targeted the knee of Stark throughout the match and defeated her with a knee while wearing Stark's knee brace. Stark was sidelined from October 2021 to July with a torn ACL/Meniscus.
