Details regarding the deal was not given. AEW has talent signed to a tier 0 contract ("agreed to appear") and will move them up to a tier 1 contract (base contract agreement), which is often indicated by the "All Elite" graphic on social media. AEW has not given Nese the "All Elite" graphic on social media.

Nese was shown in the crowd on AEW Dynamite where he was called "one of the hottest free agents in wrestling," and then worked the AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios.
