Additional details on the recent COVID-19 outbreak at NXT.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Triple H quarantined following the COVID-19 outbreak at NXT. It is unconfirmed if Triple H tested positive for COVID-19. He missed the March 17 episode of NXT.
Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg ran the show in Triple H's absence. Triple H also missed the March 15 episode of WWE Raw.
On March 15, Fightful Select reported there would be significant changes to the March 17 episode of NXT with talent being told to quarantine and others pulled from the show. Timothy Thatcher, Leon Ruff, and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott were scheduled to compete on Wednesday's show, but did not end up appearing on the show.
No positive COVID-19 tests were confirmed.
Fightful Select reported an outbreak was feared after a meeting/event took place on Thursday, March 11, in which many WWE PC trainees were required to attend. Several of the people there were said to not be taking the proper precautions, leading to numerous talent being pulled, and others quarantined.
