A reported new venture for Vince McMahon.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Vince McMahon is working on setting up a company post his WWE tenure. The company is being described as a new "entertainment hub company." The company would reportedly develop and produce film and television productions.
The company would reportedly focus on fiction and non-fiction projects and there are no plans to launch anything similar to WWE.
Brad Blum, WWE's former Chief Operating Office, and Kristen Prouty, who was WWE's liaison to the Hollywood, are reportedly working with McMahon in preparation to launch the company. Kevin Dunn is reportedly not involved with the project.
Blum was identified as "Corporate Officer No. 2" in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against McMahon and WWE in January.
The company will reportedly be based in Los Angeles, and it is planned to launch if McMahon's legal issues are resolved.
Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit in January against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking. On May 30, Grant agreed to pause the lawsuit for six months while the federal investigation continued against McMahon, who resigned from TKO/WWE following the lawsuit being filed.
