WWE got a big tax break from Ohio.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that WWE received a $1,675,986 tax break from the state of Ohio in 2024.
The report notes that artists shooting their movies and television shows in Ohio got a total $44 million influx in funding from the state. WWE was listed under TV series.

Development received 27 applications for the Fiscal Year 2024 January round, requesting nearly $60 million in tax credits.
Fightful Select previously reported that Cleveland was the front-runner to host WWE SummerSlam. WWE has not officially announced the date or host for WWE SummerSlam 2024.
