AEW Collision (1/20/2024).

  • Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • Jon Moxley def. Shane Taylor (w/ Lee Moriarty) (via Submission).
    • After the match, Moxley said that he was pissed off & hungry beyond belief before saying that he was not taking crap from anyone & anything. He declared that anyone who steps to him needed to keep the hell up.
  • There was a video recap of the AEW Title Match between Samoa Joe & HOOK from the 1/17 edition of AEW Dynamite.
  • Adam Copeland hosted his latest Open Challenge, which was answered by Top Flight's Dante Martin.
  • Adam Copeland def. Dante Martin (via Submission).
    • After the match, Tony Schiavone interviewed Adam Copeland in the ring. Copeland said that the challenges get harder every week, and he put over Martin & the young talent. Copeland said that he would continue to host open challenges until he regains the TNT Championship from Christian Cage to have it defended on AEW Collision again.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli backstage. Danielson said that Eddie Kingston's run in the Continental classic was his best run, but said that he still needed to prove he was a great year-on-year. Castagnoli was fed up with the Kingston talk and said that the BCC would defeat Kingston and make Ortiz another casualty.
  • Dante Martin was with Darius Martin & Action Andretti for an interview with Lexy Nair, but they were interrupted by Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen). Top Flight told Private Party that they wanted a rematch.
  • Thunder Rosa def. Queen Aminata.
  • Eddie Kingston & Ortiz were interviewed by Lexy Nair backstage. Ortiz said that the issues between himself & Kingston were left behind and were going to be a well-oiled machine tonight. Kingston proceeded to no-sell the interview and said that he was going to leave to get ready, which Ortiz translated to the crowd by saying that Kingston does his best talking in the ring.
  • The newly crowned ROH Six Man Tag Team Champions Bullet Club Gold (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & "Switchblade" Jay White, alongside Carbhard Juice Robinson) where they called themselves the best trio in AEW. The AEW Trios Champions The Acclaimed (Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) came to the ring to congratulate them for winning the titles before offering once again the idea of a super faction named "The Bang Bang Scissor Gang". They agreed and joined forces.
  • AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm cut a promo backstage after AEW Dynamite. Storm said that she remembered her past with Deonna Purrazzo before agreeing to meet her at a later date.
  • Daniel Garcia (w/ Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler of FTR) def. Buddy Matthews (w/ Malakai Black & Brody King).
    • Matt Menard was on the broadcast team for the match.
    • After the match, there was an all-out brawl between FTR, House of Black & Daniel Garcia before referees & members of the ROH Roster came to separate them.
    • FTR & Daniel Garcia were interviewed by Lexy Nair backstage, where they challenged House of Black to a Cage Match for next week.
  • Roderick Strong (w/ Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) def. Matt Sydal.
  • Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Bryan Danielson) def. Ortiz & Continental Crown Champion Eddie Kingston.
