  • Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • Tony Schiavone interviewed FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) regarding the aftermath of Anarchy In The Arena. Harwood & Wheeler admitted that they were disappointed with the outcome of the match, but Harwood said they would be back and they would not stop until they whoop The Elite's ass on behalf of everyone backstage on AEW.
  • Jack Perry cut a promo after the outcome of Anarchy in The Arena, where Perry said that giving blood, sweat, and tears in wrestling was the bare minimum. Perry said that despite being set on fire and being excommunicated by AEW for months, he promised to do everything to shape the future of AEW through blood, sweat, and fire.
  • Roderick Strong (w/ Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) def. Lio Rush via Pinfall (End of Heartache).
  • Kyle O'Reilly cut a promo backstage saying he was not here to give a great match, but to beat Ospreay for the International Title before saying he was not walking out of Palm Spring without the title.
  • Lexy Nair was backstage before Roderick Strong appeared from out of nowhere. Strong confronted Christopher Daniels & Tony Khan and demanded a title shot at the AEW World Title, which Khan granted before declaring that the winner would face Will Ospreay at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
  • Daniel Garcia & Katsuyori Shibata def. The Workhorsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry) via Pinfall (Jack-Knife Cover from Daniel Garcia on JD Drake).
    • Matt Menard was on commentary for the match.
  • Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway cut a promo backstage, where they had a box of garbage to say that Willow Nightingale was a piece of garbage. Statlander promised to destroy anyone that was in her way next week.
  • Thunder Rosa def. Reina Dorada via Submission (Cobra Clutch).
  • Cage of Agony (Brian Cage, Kaun & Toa Liona) def. KM & Los Suavecitos (Ricky Gee & Danny Rose) via Pinfall (Toss to Orbit on Ricky Gee).
  • Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Luther cut a promo backstage addressing Saraya's comments on the 5/31 edition of AEW Rampage. May promised to make a movie with Saraya called "Shit Storm" before Storm said the Forbidden Door is right open for anyone wanting a shot at her AEW Women's World Title.
  • Claudio Castagnoli def. Johnny TV (w/ Taya Valkyrie) via Pinfall (King Kong Lariat).
  • Mark Sterling narrated a video package for The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods & Tony Nese).
  • Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty) (w/ Anthony Ogogo) def. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs) via Pinfall (Marcus Garvey Driver from Shane Taylor to Jorel Nelson).
  • Iron Savages (Jacked Jameson, Boulder & Bronson) cut a promo backstage but they were attacked by Killswitch from out of nowhere. Killswitch laid out all three Savages.
  • AEW International Championship Match: Will Ospreay (c) def. Kyle O'Reilly via Pinfall (Storm Breaker).
  • AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland cut a promo backstage where he put over Will Ospreay for being a standout. Strickland said Forbidden Door was bittersweet to him as he had been on the Zero Hour on the two previous shows, and looked forward to the main event of the show. After that, he called out Roderick Strong and promised to defeat Strong at the 6/5 edition of AEW Dynamite.
