AEW Dynamite (10/25/23) Results: Sting, The Elite, Chris Jericho, RVD, Kazuchika Okada, More Appear

AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This week features Tony Khan giving Sting a gift one week after Sting announced that he plans on retiring at AEW Revolution 2024. Also, MJF opens the show defending the Dynamite Diamond Ring against Juice Robinson. In addition to that Rob Van Dam, Bryan Danielson, Kazuchika Okada, and more will all be in action.

AEW Dynamite (10/25/23) Results

- The show opens with Maxwell Jacob Friedman being interviewed by Renee Paquette. MJF calls Adam Cole on the phone and Adam picks up. Max says he's so happy that Adam got surgery and he got out of Roderick Strong's house. Roddy interrupts and starts screaming for Adam. Adam hangs up and Roderick says that he's willing to help MJF with his issues with Bullet Club Gold. Max says he doesn't need his help and promises to take care of business with Juice Robinson.

* Dynamite Dynamite Ring: MJF def. Juice Robinson

- The Gunns immediately attack Maxwell. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom come out to save him. The Acclaimed also comes out to save him. Jay White tells Maxwell not to worry about anyone else but him and promises to beat him at AEW Full Gear. The Gunns challenge Maxwell to a Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship match at Full Gear. MJF accepts and rejects both the offer of Roderick and The Kingdom to team with him next week in an 8-man tag, but he will pick three partners of his choosing.

- Kenny Omega stop stops MJF on the ramp and challenges him to an AEW World Championship Match. Max agrees to face him this Saturday on Collision for the World Championship.

- A Wardlow Vignette also targets MJF. Rough night for Max

* Rob Van Dam & HOOK def. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver)

- Toni Storm will compete for the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW Full Gear. Her new film also reveals that her new Butler is Luther.

- Tony Schiavone introduces Sting and Darby Allin. Sting thanks the crowd in Philadelphia. Tony Schiavone introduces Sting's gift, Ric Flair. Ric Flair says he wants to ride this wave out with Sting until March. Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne appear. Cage mocks Flair and claims he would have died 20 years ago if there was a God. Cage says he doesn't want to wait for Sting to go, he wants it now. Cage challenges Sting, Allin, and a partner to a match at AEW Full Gear against him, Luchasaurus, and Wayne. Sting agrees.

-Chris Jericho stated in an interview with Renee Paquette that his ego is wounded as a result of his loss to Powerhouse Hobbs. He claims that there comes a point in everyone's career when they question if they have "it". He claims Don Callis and his family have many friends, but he has "big" friends of his own.

* ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Adam Page & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) (c) def. The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) & Brother Zay

- Swerve Strickland appears on the video wall and seems to have broken into Hangman's house. He goes into his baby's room and says that the baby will forever be indebted to Swerve and they have their father to thank for that.

- Renee Paquette asks Adam Copeland in an interview if anything has changed or if he is willing to fight Christian Cage. Adam says nothing has changed and his friendship means more than any issues within the industry. Sting and Darby appear and tell Adam to wake up.

* AEW Women's World Title: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Ruby Soho

- MJF is being checked on in the trainer's room. Samoa Joe approaches him and says that he will be his friend and watch his back as long as Maxwell gives him a title match.

- AEW World's End will emanate from Long Island, New York on Saturday, December 30, and be broadcast on pay-per-view.

* Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli def. Kazuchika Okada & Orange Cassidy

- Claudio pinned Cassidy and will get an International Championship Match next week.

- Danielson appeared to be hurt afterward as he was clutching the side of his face and had medical staff checking on him as well as the other members of BCC who came down to the ring. The last thing Danielson received was The Rainmaker from Okada but that followed an Orange Punch from Orange Cassidy. The show ended with members of CHAOS and members of the BCC all checking on the competitors.
