On May 29, 2024, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of "AEW Dynamite" from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California on TBS.

The show was headlined by Swerve Strickland facing Killswitch in an AEW World Title Eliminator match, sponsored by HBO's House of The Dragon, plus the Casino Gaunlet to determine the #1 contender for the AEW World title. The full results are listed below.

  • Excalibur, Taz & Tony Schiavone welcomed the audience before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • The newly crowned TBS Champion Mercedes Moné kicked off proceedings with her championship celebration after winning the title on AEW Double Or Nothing. Moné put over Willow Nightingale for her match and hoped she kicked Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway's asses when she makes her return. After that, Skye Blue appeared on the titantron admitting she attacked Moné before Dynasty, and said she had a special gift for Moné. This led to her appearing from the crowd and hitting Moné with the TKO before retreating.
  • There was a video package recapping the events of AEW Double or Nothing before transitioning into the opening contest.
  • AEW World Championship - Eliminator Match (Presented by HBO's House of the Dragon): Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana) def. Killswitch via Pinfall (House Call Kick).
    • After the match, Swerve Strickland cut a piece of Killswitch's hair as payback for the former TNT Champion cutting off his braid before AEW Double Or Nothing.
  • Jon Moxley cut a promo backstage. Moxley admitted he was still hurt from the events of "Double or Nothing", but said he would keep on fighting from tonight to NJPW's Dominion to Josh Barnett's Bloodsport Japan to NJPW x AEW Forbidden Door.
  • Chris Jericho & Big Bill hosted the first-ever episode of "TV Time" with the special guest being Bryan Keith. Keith said he joined Jericho because he believed Jericho was unfairly underappreciated. HOOK tried to attack Jericho as he laid out an army of security guards, but Samoa Joe interrupted and left with HOOK.
  • There was a video package for NJPW STRONG Women's Champion, CMLL Women's World Champion, and one-half of the CMLL World Women's Champions Stephanie Vaquer.
  • IWGP World Heavyweight Championship - Eliminator Match: Jon Moxley (c) def. Rocky Romero via Pinfall (Death Rider).
  • Renee Paquette interviewed Samoa Joe & HOOK, where Joe told Paquette they do not work on their (The Learning Tree) time because dangerous men work on their own time.
  • Don Callis came to the ring to offer a contract to Orange Cassidy to join the Don Callis Family. Cassidy appeared and after hearing Callis's pitch, Cassidy decided to rip the contract and tell him "No". Callis was irate, but Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander interrupted before Statlander said that her best friend accepted Callis's offer. This was a rouse as Trent Beretta attacked Cassidy from behind, busting his head open. Trent then hugged Callis, officially joining the Don Callis family.
  • Renee Paquette interviewed Daniel Garcia & Matt Menard, where Garcia said he would climb the ranks to earn a shot at the AEW International Title.
  • TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné (c) def. Skye Blue via Pinfall (Moné Maker).
    • Stephanie Vaquer appeared on the ramp, teasing a match between herself and Mercedes Moné.
  • After interrupting Renee Paquette's injury report, Stokely Hathaway & Kris Statlander explained why Statlander turned against Willow. After Hathaway said most of the men would call out of work due to sinus infections, Statlander explained she was done being the protector and now everyone will need protection from her.
  • There was a video package detailing the accomplishments of Maxwell Jacob Friedman after his return on AEW Double or Nothing.
  • The Elite (Katsuchika Okada, Jack Perry, Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) came to the ring to address the situation regarding the TNT Championship. After gifting Okada a custom Lamborghini, The Jackson Brothers announced that Adam Copeland would be stripped from the TNT Title due to injury. The Jackson was about to gift the TNT Title to Jack Perry due to his performance in Anarchy In The Arena but Christopher Daniels interrupted to announce that he was now an interim-EVP and that there would be a tournament to crown a new TNT Champion in a Ladder Match. The Elite tried to attack Daniels, but Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) came to the aid of Daniels.
  • Swerve Strickland cut a promo, where he said he needed to get his lick back on Killswitch and said he would keep his eyes on the Casino Gaunlet.
  • RUSH cut a promo backstage welcoming back MJF but said that if he messed with the bull, he would get the horns.
  • AEW World Heavyweight Championship - #1 Contender's Casino Gauntlet Match: Will Ospreay def. Mistico, Jay White, PAC, Shota Umino, Lio Rush, Orange Cassidy, Hechicero via Pinfall (Oz Cutter from Ospreay on Orange Cassidy).
    • As Mistico & Ospreay shook hands in the center of the ring, Swerve Strickland interrupted. Strickland & Ospreay had a staredown before the end of the broadcast.
