- The show starts with a video package highlighting last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
- Chris Jericho makes his way to the broadcast booth before the first match.
FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. The Butcher & The Blade
The match begins with Blade backing Harwood into the corner before letting him go free, Blade backs Harwood into the corner again and he lets him go free again. Harwood takes Blade down with a headlock, Blade gets Harwood into the ropes before landing a few strikes. Harwood fights back and lands some strikes of his own, Harwood then drops Blade with several shoulder tackles. Harwood catches Blade in a few roll ups for a few near falls, Harwood gets Blade down again with another headlock. Wheeler tags in and he nails the arm of Blade with a middle rope axe handle smash, Harwood tags back in and he stomps away on the injured arm of Blade. Harwood hits Blade with an arm trap northern lights suplex, Harwood keeps Blade down while working over his arm. Blade finds a way to tag Butcher in and both teams have a stand off, Wheeler tags in and Harwood distracts Butcher so Wheeler can get an advantage. Wheeler knocks Butcher into the ropes after landing a drop kick, Wheeler fakes an injury before rolling Butcher up for a near fall. Butcher gets angry and he runs Wheeler over before tagging Blade in, Blade and Butcher work over a cornered Wheeler.
Blade drags Wheeler to the ropes before choking him on the middle rope, Butcher tags in and he chokes Wheeler on the bottom rope. Blade tags back in and he double teams Wheeler with Butcher, Blade holds Wheeler down while applying a chin lock. Blade attacks Harwood before eating a power slam from Wheeler, Harwood tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Harwood hits Blade with a neck breaker before hitting Butcher with a dragon screw leg whip, Harwood then nails Blade with a brain buster. Harwood gets Blade on the top rope and he follows him up there, Butcher interferes and he knocks Blade off the top rope. Harwood and Wheeler recover to hit Butcher with an elevated double DDT, Wheeler tags in FTR hit Blade with a superplex/splash combo for a near fall. Harwood tags back in as Butcher drags Wheeler out of the ring, Butcher tags in as Blade nails Harwood with a knee strike. Butcher hits Harwood with an assisted uranage for a near fall, Blade tags back in and Wheeler prevents Full Death from landing. Harwood and Wheeler then hit Butcher with the Goodnight Express, Wheeler tags in and FTR hits Blade with a Mind Breaker for a three count.
Winners: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)
After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews FTR and Dax Hardwood says that AEW is the pinnacle of wrestling and tag team wrestling. The Young Bucks interrupt and they say they came out to congratulate FTR, Matt Jackson also thanks them before saying FTR failed to properly introduce themselves last week. Matt says The Young Bucks have been carrying tag team wrestling for the last decade-plus before declaring them the best tag team in wrestling, a bunch of wrestlers hit the ring and FTR clears it alongside members of The Elite.
- Dasha Gonzalez interviews The Natural Nightmares, Dasha tells them they will get an AEW Tag Team Title Match next week. Brandi Rhodes questions why Allie is wearing a Rhodes Family jacket and QT Marshall says that Allie is his girl, Dustin Rhodes says he wants to make sure Marshall has his head right and they could become champions. Rhodes then says that Allie won’t be ringside with them next week.
Nyla Rose & Penelope Ford w/Kip Sabian vs. Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
The match begins with Rose and Ford jumping their opponents before the bell sounded, a brawl breaks out between all the competitors in the ring. Statlander fights back and she throws Rose into Ford, Statlander then hits Rose with a basement drop kick for a near fall. Shida tags in and she attacks a cornered Rose, Statlander tags back in and she nails Rose with a back elbow strike. Shida tags in and she nails Rose with a knee strike, Statlander tags back in and she misses a dive from the top rope. Rose then hits Statlander with a clothesline for a near fall, Rose keeps Statlander down while landing some strikes. Rose hits Statlander with a slam and leg drop as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Statlander fighting back against Rose. Statlander drops Rose with an overhead kick followed by a discus clothesline, Shida and Ford are tagged in by their respective partners. Shida quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Shida traps Ford on the ring apron before landing a knee strike.
Shida goes to the top rope and she hits Ford with a missile drop kick, Shida follows up by nailing Ford with a suplex for a near fall. Statlander tags in and she works with Shida to double team Ford, Statlander nails Ford with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ford fights back and she nails Statlander with a DDT for a near fall, Rose tags in and Statlander nails her with a head kick. Ford interferes and she hits Statlander with a stunner, Shida hits the ring and she nails Ford with a knee strike. Shida then nails Rose with a superplex, Statlander then hits Rose with an axe kick for a near fall. Shida tags in and Rose blocks a suplex before getting her on the top rope, Statlander interferes and Rose gets her on the top rope as well. Rose goes to the top rope before nailing both competitors with a knee strike, Ford tags in and Statlander blocks her springboard move. Shida then nails Rose with a running knee strike, Shida then hits Ford with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Sabian distracts Shida and Statlander nails him with a suicide dive, Ford hits Shida with the women’s title belt before landing a fisherman suplex for a three count.
Winners: Nyla Rose & Penelope Ford w/Kip Sabian
- Darby Allin appears and he says he isn’t medically cleared to wrestle, Tony Hawk appears to tell Allin to have fun. Allin attempts a skateboarding trick while standing on top of a ladder and he finally lands it after multiple attempts.
- A Dr. Britt Baker video airs and Baker compares her life struggles to that of Big Swole.
The Inner Circle (Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz) vs. Orange Cassidy & Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)
The match begins with The Inner Circle jumping the opposition before the bell sounds, the brawl between both teams spills all over the arena. Hager gets Cassidy on the stage before attacking him with strikes, Santana works over Trent in the ring. Santana corners Trent before landing more strikes, Santana misses a charge in the corner and Trent attacks him with strikes. Trent goes for a tornado DDT and Santana blocks it before landing a kick to the face, Trent recovers and he nails Santana with a back drop suplex. Ortiz tags in and he attacks Trent with a series of strikes, Taylor interferes and he double teams Ortiz with Trent. Trent clears the ring before nailing Hager with a suicide dive, Taylor then hits Santana and Ortiz with a suicide dive. Trent follows up by nailing Ortiz with a spear on the arena floor, Trent and Taylor get Ortiz in the ring before getting jumped by Hager. Hager tags in and Taylor gets triple teamed, Hager then hits a downed Taylor with a Hager Bomb for a near fall. Santana interferes and attacks Taylor while Hager distracts the ref, Hager corners Taylor before landing more strikes.
Santana tags in and he stomps away on a cornered Taylor, Ortiz tags in and he attacks a cornered Taylor with more strikes. Taylor fights back as Trent and Hager tag into the match, Trent quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Hager stops Trent’s momentum by dropping him on the top rope, Ortiz tags back in and he nails Trent with a suplex for a near fall. Hager tags back in as Ortiz flicks the sunglasses off Cassidy’s face, Trent fights back to send Hager out of the ring. Trent then hits Ortiz with a tornado DDT, Cassidy tags in and he sends a charging Hager out of the ring. Ortiz and Santana hit the ring and Cassidy nails them with a double hurricarana, Cassidy follows up by nailing Hager with a suicide dive. Cassidy drops Ortiz before nailing Santana with a tornado DDT, Cassidy goes to the top rope and Hager catches him as he leaps off to land a power slam for a near fall. Best Friends hit the ring and Hager knocks Trent out of the ring, Ortiz tags in and he works with Santana to hit Cassidy with a cannonball. Santana and Ortiz go for the Street Sweeper and Taylor prevents it, Cassidy catches Ortiz in a roll up for a three count.
Winners: Orange Cassidy & Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)
After the match, Chris Jericho leaves the announce table to join The Inner Circle in attacking Orange Cassidy & Best Friends with a baseball bat. Jericho grabs several bags of oranges and he beats Cassidy with them, Jericho gets the microphone to say that Cassidy has been juiced.
- Tony Schiavone starts to interview Billy when MJF intervenes, MJF says that Jungle Boy shouldn’t have gotten an AEW TNT Championship shot before him. MJF says he has been overlooked and passed over by AEW, MJF says he has hit the ceiling in AEW. Billy interrupts and MJF insults his family, things nearly get physical before Wardlow gets in between everybody.
- Highlights are shown of Dark Order trying to recruit Colt Cabana on last week’s AEW Dynamite.
Sammy Guevara vs. Colt Cabana
The match begins with Guevara flipping Cabana off and Cabana does the same to him, Cabana then attacks Guevara with some chops. Cabana follows up by nailing Guevara with a head scissors takedown and arm drag, Cabana focuses his attack on the arm of Guevara. Guevara gets to the ropes before knocking Cabana out of the ring, Guevara follows up by nailing Cabana with a suicide dive. Cabana gets back in the ring and Guevara gets a near fall on him before choking him along the middle rope, Guevara then kicks the bottom rope into the neck of Cabana. Guevara keeps Cabana down before applying a chin lock to him, Cabana gets free and Guevara nails him with a head kick. Guevara keeps Cabana down again by holding him in another chin lock, Cabana gets free and Guevara gets him in another chin lock a short time later. Cabana gets free again and he nails a charging Guevara with an elbow strike, Guevara fights back and he kicks Cabana in the face. Guevara goes to the middle rope and Cabana makes him get down before landing an up kick, Cabana then cracks Guevara with some strikes.
Cabana follows up by nailing Guevara with a Flying Apple and double jump splash for a near fall, Guevara fights back to hit Cabana with an enziguri. Guevara goes for a springboard move and Cabana trips him up before landing a moonsault for a near fall, Cabana goes for the Chicago Skyline and Cabana slips. Guevara then hits Cabana with a GTH for the three count.
Winner: Sammy Guevara
After the match, Dark Order members come to the ringside area and Brodie Lee helps Colt Cabana get back to his feet. Cabana heads backstage through the entrance ramp used by Dark Order, Sammy Guevara calls Cabana a big fat loser and Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring. Hardy comes out to say he respects Guevara and says Guevara is like a young Matt Hardy, Hardy says Guevara can’t realize his full potential without leaving The Inner Circle. Hardy says he must delete Guevara to save him.
- A Joey Janela video package airs, Janela says he came to AEW to become a star and he wonders why he has faded into the darkness in recent months. Janela says he feels like his best moments in wrestling are behind him, Janela says he has lost his direction when Sonny Kiss shows up to offer him a ride.
- Dasha Gonzalez tries interviewing Colt Cabana, who says very little before entering the Dark Order locker room.
- Alex Marvez interviews Jon Moxley, who says that he is in a real bad mood and he has no patience or time for people who run their mouths. Moxley admits that Taz has gotten under his skin and he promises to beat Brian Cage at AEW Fyter Fest, Moxley says he is pissed that Taz and Cage believe that cage can beat him. Taz appears and he confronts Moxley, Cage jumps Moxley from behind and he throws him into a garbage can. Moxley fights back and he breaks a car window when swinging a pipe at Cage, Cage then nails Moxley with a spine buster onto the car. Cage then breaks a car window by slamming Moxley onto it.
- A video package airs on the upcoming AEW TNT Title Match between Cody and Marq Quen.
AEW TNT Championship
Cody (c) w/Arn Anderson vs. Marq Quen
The match begins with Cody backing Quen into the corner before eating a few strikes, Cody fires back and a striking exchange breaks out. Cody trips up a charging Quen before working over his arm, Quen gets Cody in a headlock and Cody gets free before eating a shoulder tackle. Quen then hits Cody with a standing moonsault for a one count, Cody fights back and Quen nails him in midair with a drop kick for a near fall. Cody trips up Quen before attacking his previously injured ankle, Cody then nails Quen with a head kick for a near fall. Cody gets Quen in a modified Romero Special, Cody releases the hold and he tosses Quen out of the ring. Quen gets back in the ring and Cody attacks his injured ankle to drop him, Cody keeps Quen down while stomping away on the injured ankle. Quen gets to the ring apron and Cody gets him back in the ring, Quen fights back and his ankle gives out while going for a springboard move. Cody keeps Quen down again while applying an ankle lock for a short time, Cody leaves the ring and he drags Quen to the ring post.
Cody then smashes the injured ankle of Quen into the ring post, Cody gets back in the ring and Quen nails him with a head kick. Quen then corners Cody while landing a bunch of strikes, the referee intervenes and Cody kicks him in the injured leg. Cody attacks Quen’s injured leg again before getting him on the top rope, Cody nails Quen with an inverted superplex. Quen fights back and he nails Cody with a middle rope moonsault, Quen follows up by nailing Cody with a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Cody looks for a suplex and Quen counters with a corkscrew DDT for a near fall, Cody leaves the ring and Quen nails him with multiple suicide dives. Cody gets back in the ring and Quen knocks him back out before landing another suicide dive, Quen gets Cody back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. Quen goes to the top rope and Cody rolls to the entrance stage, Quen then hits Cody with a 450m splash on the entrance ramp. Quen gets Cody back in the ring before going back to the top rope, Quen goes for a shooting star press and Cody catches him in an ankle lock. Cody transitions to a trailer hitch and a tap out follows.
Winner: Cody w/Arn Anderson, still the AEW TNT Champion
After the match, Jake Hager comes out to confront Cody, Hager attacks Arn Anderson before laying out Cody with a spine buster. Matt Hardy and Private Party come out to attack Hager. Members of The Inner Circle come to the ring and a huge brawl breaks out between everybody until The Inner Circle is cleared from the ring, Cody says Hager can have an AEW TNT Title Match at AEW Fyter Fest.
