AEW Dynamite: Big Business (3/13/2024) Results

- The show kicked off with Renee Paquette running down the action. A Mercedes arrived on the scene and we faded into the arena. Mercedes Mone officially makes her debut. Mercedes thinks the audience for sticking with her throughout all of her history-making moments. She reflected on her Heroes such as Eddie Guerrero. She also said that the women would be main Eventing tonight, alluding to unfinished business with Willow Nightingale. She gave a shout-out to her brother and she promised to make more history in AEW.

- Samoa Joe talks to Renee Paquette about his impending title defense against Wardlow.

- A Wardlow vignette airs narrated by Adam Cole.

* AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow

- After the match, Swerve Strickland tried to hit the ring. He was stopped by security but he laid them all out. Joe walked away from him but it was clear that there was unfinished business between them.

- Alex Marvez interviews The Elite and he has made to sing Happy Birthday to Matthew Jackson by Kazuchika Okada.

* The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Matthew Jackson, & Nicholas Jackson) def. Eddie Kingston, PAC, & Penta El Zero Miedo

- A video package recaps the rivalry between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

- Will Ospreay is interviewed in the middle of the ring by Tony Schiavone. He up his upcoming match at Dynasty against Bryan Danielson. Ospreay promises that he will restore the feeling with this match and says that he is the feeling. He says there can only be one winner between them and he doesn't plan on dying.

* Jay White def. Darby Allin

- After the match, Darby is attacked by White, Colten Gunn, and Austin Gunn. Billy Gunn, Max Caster, and Anthony Bowens come out to stop this. This signals the end of the Bang Bang Scissor Gang, as White hits Billy with a chair and The Acclaimed are beaten down.

* LionHOOK (HOOK & Chris Jericho) def. Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)

- Kyle O'Reilly is interviewed by Renee Paquette. He will fight Bryan Keith on Saturday Collision. Roderick Strong approaches Kyle and says he has a ton of respect for him and is willing to let him do it on his own. Kyle seems taken aback by the idea of actually having to step in the ring for the first time in 2 years and get the win by himself.

- A video package previews the upcoming Main Event between Willow Nightingale and Riho.

- Mercedes Mone approaches Riho backstage and says she's looking forward to watching her match.

- HOOK and Chris Jericho agreed to meet in a singles match next week.

* Willow Nightingale def. Riho

- After the match, Willow was jumped by Skye Blue and Julia Hart. She was saved by Mercedes Mone, now in ring gear, who closed the show by celebrating with the audience.
