AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam (9/21)

  • AEW World Title: Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship: Swerve In Our Glory (c) vs. The Acclaimed
  • ROH World Championship: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Jericho
  • AEW Interim World Women's Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Athena vs. Britt Baker vs. Serena Deeb
  • AEW All-Atlantic Championship: PAC (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

ROH World Championship: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Jericho

Claudio hit all of his big moves including the Giant Swing, the Sharpshooter, the uppercut, and the Ricola Bomb. Throughout the match, Chris Jericho was trying to win by nefarious means, and in the end, while Aubrey Edwards was trying to remove Floyd the bat from the ring, Chris Jericho hit a low blow and the Judas Effect for the victory. After the match, the JAS came out to celebrate with Daniel Garcia looking dejected.

Winner and new champion: Chris Jericho by pifall.

- There was a hype package for tonight's main event.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: Swerve In Our Glory (c) vs. The Acclaimed

Swerve accidentally hit Keith with The Acclaimed’s boombox. The Acclaimed tried to follow up, but Max Caster had a rough landing on an Elbow Drop attempt. Ultimately, Billy Gunn was able to hit the fan Master on to Swerve and allow Max Caster to hit The Mic Drop for the victory in front of an ecstatic crowd in Queens, New York.

Winner and new champions: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) by pinfall.

- The Gunn Club confronted FTR when FTR was trying to declare that they wanted a tag team title opportunity.

- Wheeler Yuta was going to be interviewed by Tony Schiavone when Maxwell Jacob Friedman interrupted him. Maxwell told Wheeler even though soon enough none of the members of the Blackpool Combat Club will have any gold, he can always learn how to injure himself from Bryan Danielson and how to pop pills from William Regal. Wheeler slapped Max. Max headbutted Wheeler and shoved Tony Schiavone to the ground. Wheeler tried to get some revenge, but he was pulled off of Max by W. Morrissey.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship: PAC (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

PAC was dominant for most of the match even though Cassidy tried his best. However, in the end, PAC was able to hit Cassidy with the ring bell hammer when the referee wasn't looking and roll Cassidy in the ring for the pinfall victory.

Winner and still champion: PAC by pinfall.

- Backstage it was revealed that Diamante will be accompanied by the rapper Trina this Friday on Rampage for her match against Jade Cargill

AEW Interim World Women's Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Athena vs. Britt Baker vs. Serena Deeb

Britt Baker’s face was bloodied after she was on the bottom end of Athena heading bold a Samoan drop and a fallaway slam on Baker and Serena Deeb. Toni Storm got the victory by rolling up Baker in a crucifix.

Winner and still champion: Toni Storm by pinfall.

- After the match, Jamie Hayter officially made amends with Britt Baker and all the heels attacked Athena and Storm. Suddenly, Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE debuted in AEW and ran off the heels.

- A video package of Darby Allin played

AEW World Title: Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson

Both men hit the other one with everything they had. Bryan Danielson tried to win with the LeBell Lock. Jon Moxley hit a Curb Stomp. Jon Moxley hit two Death Rider DDTs, including one on the entrance ramp, but Bryan Danielson was able to kick out. At the end, Jon Moxley submitted Bryan Danielson with a Rear Naked Choke

Winner and new champion: Jon Moxley by submission.
