On April 6, 2023, IMPACT hosted a new episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV.

The show was headlined by a third encounter in the promotion between "Speedball" Mike Bailey and former ROH Pure Champion & ROH World Heavyweight Champion Jonathan Gresham, while the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) faced TMDK's Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito.   • Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) def. TMDK (Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito).
    • After the Math, IMPACT Tag Team Champions Ace Austin & Chris Bey confronted MCMG to tell them that they would not get a rematch. Shelley & Sabin then challenged them to an Ultimate X Match for the titles.
  • Backstage, Kenny King told Eddie Edwards that he had Edwards's back, but told him to get more assistance from whoever ran over PCO in the dessert.
  • Backstage, Tommy Dreamer spoke to Scott D'Amore to invite him ringside, but D'Amore declined the offer respectfully because he was already handling too much already.
  • Jonathan Gresham vs. Mike Bailey ended in a No-Contest after X-Division Champion Trey Miguel interfered in the match.
  • The Design (Deaner, Alan Angels & Kon) were backstage with Sami Callihan. Angels said that he believed Callihan's attempt to join was a ploy, but Callihan said that he was doing everything he can to join. Deaner told Callihan that Step 7 was were he proved his worth, and demanded him to eliminate all authority from his life.
  • Santino Marella met with Mike Bailey, Jonathan Gresham & X-Division Champion Trey Miguel backstage, letting them know that he would make a Triple Threat Match between the three for Rebellion for the title.
  • Jody Threat def. Taylor Rising.
  • Tommy Dreamer, Yuya Uemura & Darren McCarty vs. Bully Ray & The Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler).
    • Kenny King attacked Tommy Dreamer after the match. Frankie Kazarian came to the ring to make the save before Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly joined the Donnybrook.
  • Tasha Steelz was interviewed backstage by Giam Miller, but was interrupted by Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans & Jai Vidal. Steelz told Shaw that if she wanted to handle some business, they can do so next weekend.
  • Deonna Purrazzo cut a promo backstage, where she promised that she would become a 3-time IMPACT Knockout's Champion. and bring in a New Age of the Virtuosa.
  • Eddie Edwards def. PCO after Alisha Edwards attacked PCO with a Kendo Stick.
    • PCO chased the Edwards family backstage after the match, but the Edwards couple drove out of the arena.
  • Scott D'Amore, Steve Macin & KUSHIDA were in the ring waiting for Current IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion Josh Alexander to vacate the title due to injury. Alexander was joined by his wife (former ROH Talent Jade Chung) & his son, serenaded by the Canada crowd. Alexander promised to come back and be "the best fucking pro-wrestler in the world", but said that he would take a step back and be an IMPACT fan like his son to crown a new champion in the meantime due to injury. Alexander warned Maclin & KUSHIDA to keep the title warm because he would return to take back what was his. Maclin responded by running down on Alexander, but D'Amore went on a tirade at Maclin for trying to provoke Alexander to fight with a broken arm before calling him a coward so of a bitch. Maclin told KUSHIDA to enjoy the spotlight because he will need it at Rebellion, but KUSHIDA locked in the Kimura Lock on Maclin.
