- Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler make their way down to the ring to start the show. Ziggler says they are the greatest three man group in WWE history, Strowman says they will prove their superiority anytime and anyplace. McIntyre says the group broke The Shield last week, McIntyre says Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have been using Dean Ambrose all along. Strowman promises to become the WWE Universal Champion at WWE Crown Jewel, McIntyre and Ziggler both promise to win the WWE World Cup. Reigns and Rollins come out on stage to interrupt what the threesome in the ring is saying, Rollins says The Shield is alive and well.
Rollins says he’ll beat McIntyre tonight to prove who the best in the world is, Reigns says everybody in the ring needs to worry about winning titles instead of Dean Ambrose. Rollins says he wants to have the WWE World Cup Qualifying Match now and McIntyre agrees.
WWE World Cup Qualifying Match
Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre
The match begins with McIntyre backing Rollins into the corner before letting him go free, McIntyre catches Rollins in a headlock. Rollins get free and McIntyre drops him with a shoulder tackle, Rollins fights back and McIntyre drops him with a boot to the midsection. McIntyre looks for a power bomb and Rollins counters to send him out of the ring, Rollins goes for a suicide dive and McIntyre counters by suplexing him on the arena floor. McIntyre gets Rollins back in the ring and Rollins rolls right back out, Rollins recovers to send McIntyre into the ringside edge and then the barricade. Dolph Ziggler comes ringside to distract Rollins and McIntyre attacks Rollins as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see McIntyre wrenching away on the arm of Rollins.
Rollins gets free and he nails a charging McIntyre with a super kick, Rollins misses a springboard clothesline before hitting McIntyre with a sling blade. McIntyre goes for an inverted Alabama slam and Rollins catches him with a roll up for a near fall, Rollins then sends McIntyre into the ring post before landing a blockbuster for a near fall. Rollins goes back up to the top rope and McIntyre attacks him with strikes before following him up there, Rollins gets free and he hangs up McIntyre on the ropes after kicking him in the face. Rollins goes back up the ropes and McIntyre drags him off, McIntyre goes back up the ropes and Rollins meets him up there to land a superplex. McIntyre counters the falcon arrow to hit Rollins with his own falcon arrow for a near fall, McIntyre and Rollins have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring.
Rollins ends the exchange by hitting McIntyre with an enzaguri followed by a thrust kick, Ziggler interferes and Rollins takes everybody out with suicide dives. Rollins gets McIntyre in the ring and Ziggler interferes to knock Rollins out of the ring, Dean Ambrose appears from out of nowhere and he attacks Ziggler. McIntyre attacks Ambrose and Rollins nails McIntyre with a curb stomp on the arena floor, Rollins beats the count into the ring to end the match.
Winner: Seth Rollins, by count out
- The Bella Twins are shown walking around backstage.
- Trish Stratus & Lita are hugged by Bayley backstage.
- The Shield are talking backstage when Seth Rollins calls Dean Ambrose a lunatic, which seemingly ticks Ambrose off before he walks away.
- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Degeneration X and the Brothers Of Destruction.
- A video plays showing the Brothers Of Destruction, The Undertaker says that DX shouldn’t be talking about respect, Kane says the DX reunion is built on a bunch of lies. ‘Taker says Shawn Michaels stayed retired for the past eight years out of fear, Kane says ‘Taker will make sure HBK doesn’t return this time. ‘Taker says that all of HBK’s fears will come true at WWE Crown Jewel, Kane and ‘Taker tell DX to Rest In Peace.
Ember Moon & Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke & Tamina
The match begins with Brooke cornering Moon before trying to smash the back of her head in the turnbuckle, Brooke then drops Moon with a should tackle. Brooke then hits Moon with a leg sweep before tagging Tamina in, Tamina applies the chin lock to a downed Moon. Moon gets free and Tamina drops her with a clothesline, Tamina then tosses Moon across the ring. Jax tags in and the two have a striking exchange, Jax drops Tamina before rolling over her with a somersault senton. Tamina fights back and exchange some headbutts with Jax, Tamina then nails a charging Jax with a Samoan drop. Brooke tags in and she nails Jax with a plethora of strikes, Jax corners Brooke before landing an avalanche. Moon tags in and hits Brooke with the Eclipse for the three count.
Winners: Ember Moon & Nia Jax
After the match, Tamina goes after Nia Jax and she drops her with a super kick. Ember Moon and Tamina work together to dump Jax out of the ring, Moon then turns on Tamina and they battle until Dana Brooke dumps them both out of the ring.
- A video package airs showing the Bella Twins turning on Ronda Rousey.
- Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring to address the situation with the Bella Twins, Rousey says she wants an explanation from the Bella Twins. The Bella Twins make their way onto the stage, Nikki says everyone paid to see them and not Rousey. Nikki says that they do not owe Rousey an explanation, Brie says it was Rousey who disrespected them first. Brie says that they weren’t going to sit on the sidelines and watch Rousey competes, Nikki calls Rousey a loser and that causes Rousey to snap. Rousey goes absolutely berserk on the Bella Twins and even mocks their relationships to John Cena and Daniel Bryan, without mentioning them by name. The Bella Twins says they are ground breakers and Rousey doesn’t compare to them, Rousey says she has knocked down dorrs everywhere, including the UFC and the WWE.
Rousey says the only door Nikki knocked down was to John Cena’s bedroom, Rousey then says that Cena would eventually throw her out. Rousey threatens the Bella’s with some violence and the Bella Twins decide to have security stand between them, Rousey meets everybody in the aisle before destroying the security team. The Bella’s escape backstage after Rousey destroys everybody.
- Bobby Roode & Chad Gable are talking with a vacationing Kurt Angle backstage, No Way Jose comes by with his conga line and Angle dances with them until Acting Raw GM Corbin arrives. Corbin tells Angle that he’ll have a match tonight against the AOP.
WWE World Cup Qualifying Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
The match begins with Ambrose taking Ziggler down with a headlock, Ziggler gets free and Ambrose drops him with a shoulder tackle. Ambrose holds Ziggler down while nailing him with some cross face strikes, Ambrose then hits Ziggler with a suplex for another near fall. Ziggler fights back and he nails Ambrose with a neck breaker, Ziggler applies the chin lock to a downed Ambrose. Ambrose catches a leaping Ziggler and knocks him out of the ring after landing a fall away slam, Ambrose goes out of the ring and he throws Ziggler into the barricade a few times. Ambrose gets Ziggler in the ring and they battle until Ambrose goes to the top rope, Ziggler meets him up there and lands a super X-factor as we go to a commercial break.
We return from the break to see Ambrose avoiding a super kick from Ziggler before propelling him into the ring post, Ambrose then hits Ziggler with a few clotheslines. Ambrose follows that up by dropping Ziggler midsection first on the top rope, Ziggler looks for a roll up and Ambrose counters by applying a Texas Cloverleaf. Ziggler gets to the ropes to break the submission from Ambrose, Ziggler misses a charge in the corner and Ambrose lands a Glam Slam for a near fall. Ambrose makes his way to the top rope and Ziggler crotches him before following him up there, Ambrose knocks Ziggler off the ropes and Drew McIntyre interferes before Seth Rollins makes the save. Ambrose leaps onto everybody who was on the arena floor, Ambrose gets back in the ring and Ziggler nails him with a super kick for the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Seth Rollins goes to check on Dean Ambrose and Ambrose shoves him aside before leaving the ring. Rollins confronts Ambrose on the stage until Roman Reigns gets between them, Acting Raw GM Corbin comes out and to announce The Shield versus Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler for tonight.
- Dolph Ziggler is giving a pep talk tonight to Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre, Stromwan warns his partners that they will pay if they screw up tonight.
Finn Balor w/Bayley vs. Jinder Mahal w/Alicia Fox & The Singh Brothers
The match begins with Mahal dropping Balor with a slam before applying a chin lock, Balor gets free and he nails Mahal with a basement drop kick. Mahal regains control and Balor kicks him in the face before landing a sling blade, Balor then hits Mahal with a shotgun drop kck before landing a Coupe De Grace for the three count.
Winner: Finn Balor w/Bayley
- Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush come out after the match, they make their way into the ring before Rush starts his trash talking. Lashley walks around the ring and he poses as Rush talks.
Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush vs. Tyler Breeze
The match begins with Lashley doing some poses in the corner, Breeze tries attacking Lashley with a few strikes and he lands an enzaguri. Lashley catches a leaping Breeze and he nails him with a delayed vertical suplex, Lashley applies the full nelson to Breeze before tossing him across the ring. Lashley then hits Breeze with a spear in the corner, Breeze fights back and Lashley nails him with a power slam. Lashley then hits Breeze with a Dominator for the three count.
Winner: Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush
- Trish Stratus & Lita make their way to the ring to discuss WWE Evolution, Lita talks about how WWE Evolution is just over a week away. Alexa Bliss and Mickie James quickly interrupt, Bliss mocks Lita and Stratus while saying she is a future WWE Hall Of Famer. James also takes some shots a Stratus while saying Stratusfaction comes to an end at WWE Evolution, Bliss and James bring up how Stratus and Lita haven’t competed in a long time. Stratus and Lita go into an Allen Iverson inspired speech about practice, Lita and Stratus challenge James and Bliss to fight, but Bliss and James head backstage instead.
- Bayley is approached by the Riott Squad backstage, they mock Bayley before wondering just where Sasha Banks is.
The Conquistador vs. The AOP (Rezar & Akam) w/Drake Maverick
The match begins with Akam nailing Conquistador with a back elbow strike, Akam misses a charge in the corner and Conquistador goes for an ankle lock. Rezar hits the ring and he destroys Conquistador, Rezar tags in and The AOP hit Conquistador with a suplex into a neck breaker for a three count.
Winners: The AOP (Rezar & Akam) w/Drake Maverick
After the match, The AOP unmask the Conquistador and its revealed to not be Kurt Angle, Angle appears behind Acting Raw GM Corbin on the stage to hit him with an Angle Slam.
- The Riott Squad appear and do same damage to Natalya’s locker room door.
- Natalya gets on the microphone before the match begins, Natalya says that she has backup in the form of Bayley & Sasha Banks.
Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan vs. Natalya w/Bayley & Sasha Banks
The match begins with Natalya trying to get after Riott before eating a few strikes, Riott holds Natalya down while applying a chin lock. Riott lets Natalya get free before shoving her to the match below, Natalya fights back and Riott nails her with a back elbow strike. Riott then hits Natalya with an STO for another near fall, Riott traps Natalya in the corner while landing shoulder thrusts. Natalya fights back and she knocks Riott out of the ring, Riott gets back in as Natalya was still recovering. Natalya surprises Riott by applying the sharp shooter and Sarah Logan hops into the ring to cause a DQ.
Winner: Natalya w/Bayley & Sasha Banks, by DQ
After the match, a brawl breaks out on both sides until the Riott Squad is eliminated from the ring.
- Elias is shown talking to a stagehand backstage.
- Elias is in the ring and he talks about a recent meeting with Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz, Elias also mocks the Philadelphia Flyers mascot. Apollo Crews interrupts and he talks about how everybody interrupts Elias, Elias questions the talent of Crews. Crews talks about how he is sick of being passed over during the last few months, Elias goes after Crews and Crews lays him out.
- Roman Reigns is shown talking to Dean Ambrose backstage.
The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins) vs. Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler
The match begins with Ziggler catching Rollins in a headlock, Rollins gets free and he slams Ziggler before tagging Ambrose into the ring. Ambrose lands a few moves before tagging Rollins back into the match, Ziggler shoves Rollins into Ambrose and the two Shield members verbally spar. Reigns tags in and Strowman takes out the entire Shield, Ziggler nails Reigns with a DDT for a near fall as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see McIntyre wrenching away on the arm of a downed Reigns, Reigns fights back and McIntyre nails him with a spine buster for a near fall. Ziggler tags back in and he stomps away on a downed Reigns, Ziggler holds Reigns down while wrenching away on his arm.
Reigns gets free and he drops Ziggler with a few clotheslines, McIntyre tags in and Reigns drops him with a flying clothesline. Strowman tags in and he nails a cornered Reigns with an avalanche, McIntyre tags in and he kicks away at a cornered Reigns. Strowman tags in and he nails Reigns with a headbutt, Reigns fights back and he sends a charging Strowman into the corner. Reigns then nails Strowman with a Samoan drop, McIntyre and Ziggler hit the ring to attack the other members of The Shield. McIntyre tags in and he nails Reigns with a Claymore Kick for a near fall, Rollins and Ambrose hit the ring and quickly clear it out. McIntyre leaps off the top rope and Reigns nails him with a right, Rollins tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Ambrose tags in and Strowman is knocked out of the ring, Rollins and Ambrose take out Ziggler and McIntyre with suicide dives.
Rollins and Ambrose attempt a suicide dive against Strowman and Strowman blocks it, Reigns nails Strowman with a superman punch. Everybody hits the ring and they all take each other out, Ambrose hits McIntyre with Dirty Deeds before Ziggler shoves Rollins into him. Ambrose and Rollins argue until Ziggler takes them both out, Ziggler nails Ambrose with a Zig Zag for a near fall. Reigns returns and he nails everybody with superman punches, Reigns then causes Strowman to crash into the ring post. McIntyre accidentally hits Strowman with a Claymore Kick before eating a spear from Reigns, The Shield hit Ziggler with a triple power bomb for the three count.
Winners: The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins)
After the match, Braun Strowman goes after Dolph Ziggler and he nails him with a running power slam, Drew McIntyre then levels Strowman with a Claymore Kick.
