Mae Young Classic 2 Opening Round Match
Rachel Evers vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto
The match begins with the competitors criss crossing and exchanging shoulder tackles, Matsumoto eventually drops Evers with a shoulder tackle. Evers trips up Matsumoto before landing a basement drop kick, Evers follows up by landing a gut wrench suplex for a near fall. Matsumoto fights back and Evers kicks her in the face, Matsumoto recovers and nails Evers with a stunner in the ropes. Matsumoto goes to the top rope to nail Evers with a missile drop kick for a near fall, Matsumoto picks up Evers and tosses her across the ring. Matsumoto holds Evers down while applying a chin lock to her, Evers gets free and Matsumoto attacks her with some chops. Matsumoto traps Evers in the ropes while kicking away at her, Matsumoto then hits a trapped Evers with an avalanche.
Matsumoto then lands a middle rope double knee strike for a near fall, Evers fights back and she nails Matsumoto with a spine buster. Matsumoto and Evers have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Evers then hits Matsumoto with a bicycle kick followed by a cutter and a senton for a near fall. Matsumoto recovers and she catches Evers with a back body drop, Evers sends Matsumoto into the corner before landing an STO followed by a spinning leg drop for a near fall. Evers picks Matsumoto up and another striking exchange breaks out between them, Matsumoto drops Evers by landing a running clothesline. Evers shocks Matsumoto with a small package for a near fall, Matsumoto then hits Evers with a release German suplex and a clothesline. Matsumoto hits Evers with a power bomb followed by the Rock Drop for the three count.

Mae Young Classic 2 Opening Round Match
Taynara Conti vs. Jessie Elaban
The match begins with Conti quickly taking Elaban down with a few judo throws, Elaban recovers to nail Conti with a head kick followed by a senton for a near fall. Elaban charges at Conti and Conti sends her into the corner, Contri wrenches away on the arm of Elaban while trapping it in the ropes. Conti scores a takedown on Elaban while getting a few near falls, Conti holds Elaban down while wrenching away on her arm. Elaban gets free and she nails Conti with a few forearm strikes, Conti recovers and drags the webbing of Elaban’s fingers along the top rope. Conti traps Elaban in the corner while kicking away at her, Elaban tries fighting back and Conti kicks her injured arm. Elaban trips up Conti before propelling her across the ring, Elaban then hits Conti with a series of drop kicks.
Elaban then hits a cornered Conti with a forearm strike followed by a stomp for the near fall, Conti catches Elaban with a modified bossman slam for the three count.

Mae Young Classic 2 Opening Round Match
Nicole Matthews vs. Isla Dawn
The match begins with Matthews backing Dawn into the corner before taunting her, Dawn eventually does the same thing to Matthews. Dawn trips up Matthews before landing a double stomp, Matthews tries getting up before Dawn nails her with kicks and a double knee strike for a near fall. Matthews recovers to trap Dawn in the ropes and land a neck breaker, Matthews then kicks a seated Dawn right in the back. Matthews then lands a back breaker on Dawn before landing a shot to the midsection, Dawn fights back and Matthews attacks her with some strikes to slow things down. Dawn recovers and Matthews quickly drops her with a clothesline for a near fall, Matthews traps Dawn in the ropes while attacking her with kicks.
Matthews keeps Dawn in the seated position while pulling back on her arms, Dawn fights back and she kicks away at Matthews. Dawn then drops Matthews with a running knee strike to the face, Dawn follows that up by landing a Saito suplex followed by a head kick. Dawn then hits Matthews with a fisherman suplex for a near fall, Matthews recovers and hits Dawn with a roaring elbow strike. Dawn catches Matthews with a modified Angle Slam for a near fall, Matthews recovers and drills a charging Dawn with a lariat. Matthews locks Dawn in the Walls Of Jericho and a tap out follows.

Mae Young Classic 2 Opening Round Match
Io Shirai vs. Xia Brookside
The match begins with Brookside immediately attacking Shirai with forearm strikes, Shirai recovers before cornering Brookside and landing a running back elbow strike. Shirai keeps Brookside cornered while landing a series of strikes, Shirai keeps Brookside in the corner while stomping away on her head. Shirai grabs a swinging Brookside and applies a crippler cross face, Brookside gets free and Shirai nails her with a knee strike to the head. Brookside recovers to hit Shirai with a jaw breaker followed by a bulldog, Brookside misses a head kick and Shirai nails her with an uppercut. Shirai hits a cornered Brookside with a double knee strike followed by a moonsault for the three count.
Winner: Io Shirai
