-We open the show with a promo by Mance Warner ahead of his barbed wire match against Jimmy Havoc at Zero Hour.
Tom Lawlor vs Rip Von Erich
Tom cuts a promo on the Von Erichs before introducing his opponent, a fake member of the Von Erich family called Rip Von Erich as his opponent for this exhibition match. They start things off with a test of strength before Rip locks in a wide headlock and Tom drops him with a shoulder block before playing to the crowd. Tom runs Rip over and dodges a dropkick before locking in an ankle lock, but Rip gets to the ropes for the break fairly quickly. Tom hits an airplane spin and locks in a rear naked choke until Rip is unconscious for the referee stoppage and the win.
Winner: Tom Lawlor defeats Rip Von Erich via referee stoppage with a rear naked choke.
-Tom cuts a promo after the match and baits the Von Erichs who take the bait and are subsequently attacked by The Spirit Squad from behind.
-We get a video recapping the setup for tonight's main event between the STRONGHEARTS and Contra Unit before we go to Alex Hammerstone talking to Richard Holliday about bringing Gino Medina into the fold before they're interrupted and mocked by Salina de la Renta.
-We get a backstage interview with Davey Boy Smith Jr. where he talks about his plans to defeat Alex tonight and win the entire tournament.
2019 Opera Cup Semifinals Match
Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs Alexander Hammerstone w/Richard Holliday
They lock up for a clean break before exchanging wrist locks and Davey takes Alex down before stretching him out before he gets to the ropes for the break. Davey whips Alex into the corner and skins the cat when Alex tosses him over the top rope before he's distracted by Richard at ringside and Alex knocks him out of the ring. Alex goes out after Davey and drops him back first across the railing before rolling him back into the ring for two. Alex stomps Davey in the corner and goes for a choke, but Davey gets back to his feet and Alex drops him with a back elbow for two. Alex stretches Davey before they exchange strikes until Davey hits mounted punches in the corner and a high angle back body drop.
Davey hits a jumping leg drop for two and a series of German suplexes for a near fall before Alex superkicks him. Davey counters the Nightmare Pendulum into a cross face before Richard distracts Davey again and Davey knocks him from the apron before slamming Alex down and hitting a diving knee drop for the pin and the win.
Winner: Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeats Alexander Hammerstone via pinfall with a diving knee drop to advance to the finals of the Opera Cup.
-After the match Davey tries to shake hands with Alex before Richard stops him and they leave.
-Brian Pillman Jr. is interviewed backstage about his match against Timothy Thatcher and how he's an underdog and his father was an underdog before he's interrupted by Kotto Brazil who makes note that Injustice are alternates for the tournament.
-We get a promo by Josef Samael and Jacob Fatu of Contra before we get a video package Erick Stevens and another for Low-Ki.
Contra Unit (Simon Gotch, Josef Samael & Jacob Fatu) vs STRONGHEARTS (CIMA, El Lindaman & Shigehiro Irie)
CIMA and Simon start the match off by meeting in the center and exchanging before Simon takes CIMA down and they grapple. CIMA gets back to his feet and takes control before hitting a running dropkick in the corner and El and CIMA hit a drop toe hold into a jumping splash before Simon comes back with a running flying forearm in the corner. Josef comes in and El chops him in the corner before dropkicking him and the champion enters the match for the first time. Jacob beats down El and tags in Simon who slams him and drags him to the corner to keep him as far away from CIMA and Shigehiro as possible. Contra isolate El until he can get the tag to the muscle of the group Irie who drops Simon and hits a rebound splash for two before countering the Gotch style piledriver and piledriving Josef onto Simon for a near fall that Jacob breaks up.
Jacob and Shigehiro go at it before running into each other with a running cross body and Jacob hits a uranage into a standing moonsault for a near fall. Contra beat on STRONGHEARTS at ringside before Jacob and Shigehiro exchange suicide dives and Jacob takes out all three members of STRONGHEARTS single handedly. Everyone then hits a move before Jacob hits CIMA with a pop-up Samoan drop and a moonsault for the pin and the win.
Winner: Contra Unit defeat STRONGHEARTS via pinfall when Jacob pins CIMA with a moonsault.
-We end the show with a backstage promo by Tom where he challenges the Von Erichs to put their titles on the line against the Spirit Squad next week as we go off the air.
